Calling all young adventurers and their adventurous parents! Paultons Park NEW for 2024 Splash Lagoon opens this weekend within the Lost Kingdom.
This thrilling little flume ride guarantees a roaring good time for the whole family. Traverse calm rapids, discover new dinosaur species, and then hold on for an exhilarating tumble into the prehistoric lagoon below.
Ride Info
- 900mm minimum height to ride and 6years unaccompanied.
- Max one adult and one child or three children per boat.
James Mancey, deputy managing director at Paultons Park, said: “Splash Lagoon is a fantastic addition to the Lost Kingdom experience. The detailing and theming around the new flume is in keeping with the Jurassic-theme and delivers a truly immersive adventure.”
“Splash Lagoon is great fun for junior riders and balances the thrill and excitement that rides such as our suspended dinosaur coaster, Flight of the Pterosaur, offers for older children and adults.”
In 2023, Paultons Park was named the UK’s best value theme park.

Laurel Dann so exciting. Can’t wait.
I don’t expect anything less presentation wise from paultons nowadays, wow that looks absolutely amazing
What does this mean for the other log ride, will they be getting rid of it now they have this one??
Paul Orsmond it depends on the maintenance and money it has been opened a long time. It may happen in the years to come but not yet. You will hear or know if they decide to dismantle it.
Paul Orsmond I would imagine that corner will be up for development in the next few years! When you look at how sharp the rest of the park is that area lets it down
Zoey Croucher I’ve just had a thought, with the new log ride opening in lost kingdom, maybe this will be the area for the new Viking land and they will get rid of the other log ride to create a new ride and theme the the whole area here , the chair swing could easily be rethemed Viking style, the play area nearby could be Viking style also and extend the whole area across where the small kiddle seal log ride is and get rid of those rides, it makes sense as I’ve been really thinking where they will put Viking land and this all fits the bill IMO
I’m so excited to see this new developments over the next 2 years, gonna be amazing 🤩
