If you get your dates and times right, then it’s Thorpe for me. Need to be there for opening and stay until closing in order to make the most of it though.
Towers is my local park but Thorpe park all day long, able to build big impressive coasters without height or noise restrictions, small island so easy to get around and a handful of franchised food vendors oh and further south so weather’s usually nicer, spent a weekend there last October and wore shorts 🤷🏻♂️
Andy Kilbride I agree with most of your points but tbf I spent a day at Alton in October last year as well and wore shorts? 😂🤣 Was there until late as it was Scarefest as well… so not really sure if that’s a valid one haha
Declan Miller my point was that My Mrs had told me it’d had rained the entire weekend whilst I was roasting, I didn’t make that very clear though sorry😂 and I’ve been Thorpe Park a couple of hundred times easily and can’t think of any time where the weather’s been particularly unpleasant, I’m sure one day the typical British weather will catch me and that I’ve just been extremely lucky upto this point 😂
