This accolade was determined by researchers from Tui Germany, who meticulously examined various theme parks across Europe. Their methodology involved analysing the ratio of rollercoasters and high-thrill attractions compared to the total number of rides within each park.
The findings revealed that Blackpool Pleasure Beach boasts an exceptional selection of adrenaline-pumping rides, making it a top destination for thrill-seekers.
This ranking underscores not only the park’s commitment to providing exhilarating experiences but also its significant role in promoting tourism in the region.

The park said earlier this year that Aviktas, a brand-new thrill rollercoaster, will be arriving in 2026. The tallest of its kind in the UK, Aviktas is a swinging pendulum ride that reaches a maximum height of 138ft.
