Paultons Park has announced a special seasonal offer: from Saturday 8th November onwards, selected weekends will operate at a reduced rate, with a streamlined ride-programme on offer.
This is excellent news if you’re looking for a budget-friendly family day out after the peak summer season, with fewer crowds but plenty of fun.
What’s open during these weekends?
According to the park’s official update:
- The themed area Tornado Springs (9 rides & experiences) will be open.
- Peppa Pig World remains accessible, including daily appearances from Peppa and George.
- Wild Lands will also be open for families to explore.
- A selection of other rides and attractions will also be available at the reduced-rate weekend offering.

What’s not open?
Because the offering is reduced, some rides are closed for maintenance or simply not operating during the weekend only programme. Some examples of closed rides include:
- Edge
- Cobra
- Sky Swinger
- Velociraptor
- The Flight of the Pterosaur
- Splash Lagoon
- Water Kingdom
It’s important to check the park’s calendar and confirm opening dates before you visit.

Key tips for your visit
- Book early – These reduced‐rate weekends are likely to be attractive to families looking for value, so ticket availability may be limited.
- Check which rides are running – Since some major rides will be closed, plan ahead to manage expectations and plan which rides your party must hit.
- Arrive early – Even on reduced weekend programmes, arriving at park open will give you the best chance of enjoying the open attractions before queues build.
- Layer up for autumn weather – November in Hampshire can be cool, so dress in layers and perhaps bring a light waterproof jacket just in case.
- Use the children’s-area advantage – With fewer guests overall, areas such as Peppa Pig World may be less busy and great for younger children to enjoy more freely.
- Extend the value – If you’re traveling from further afield (e.g., from Stoke-on-Trent/Midlands), pair the day with a local stay or nearby attraction to get full value from the trip.
With the reduced rate weekend, you’ll still get full access to several high-quality themed areas and rides — you’ll just need to accept that some of the headline attractions are paused for maintenance. For many visitors, the benefit of lower price + shorter queues + more relaxed pace makes up for the smaller ride-list.
If you’ve been meaning to visit Paultons Park but felt the price or crowds put you off, then the November Reduced Rate Weekends (from 8th November) offer a smart alternative. Plan ahead, know what’s open, and you could enjoy a rewarding day out with your family without the peak-season premium.
Visit the official site to check ticket availability, opening dates, and the full list of rides open and closed. Then pick your preferred weekend and book early to lock in the value.
