You immediately start walking faster. Not running — you’re a responsible park guest — but definitely moving with purpose. You picture yourself boarding within minutes, smugly telling friends, “We timed this perfectly.”
You refresh once more just to admire it.

This is peak park happiness.
75 minutes → Denial
Halfway there, you check again.
75 minutes.
That can’t be right.
You refresh.

You close the app and reopen it like that might emotionally reset the number. You switch networks. Tilt your phone. Blink.

You arrive within sight of the entrance. Hope flickers. One last check.
Closed.

And despite everything — the excitement, the denial, the devastation — you’ll keep checking.
Because one day…
It might say 15 minutes again.
