Alton Towers has announced the closing of a beloved attraction that has been open for more than two decades at the resort.
The Spa included multi-sensory showers, an Edwardian sauna, steam room, outdoor log sauna and tepidarium, a pool, whirlpool, and jacuzzi, as well as a variety of packages and treatments.
A spokesman at Alton Towers Resort said: “After careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision to close the Spa located on-site. This was a difficult decision but one we feel is essential for the future growth and development of the resort.”
Customers who have made reservations for 2024 will be contacted to arrange refunds or alternate choices.
