Paultons Park has officially shifted into its peak 2026 operating schedule — and for visitors, that means one simple but important change: the park is now open daily.

While this might sound like a small update, it actually has a big impact on planning your visit — especially with a huge new attraction just around the corner.
What “Open Daily” Really Means
Historically, Paultons Park has operated on limited opening days outside of peak season, particularly in early spring and autumn.
Now, as we move deeper into the 2026 season, the park is running every day of the week, typically from around 10am to 5pm (or later in summer).
Why this matters:
- More flexibility when booking trips
- Easier midweek visits (often quieter)
For families, this is a major win — no more working around restricted calendars.
Valgard Opening VERY Soon
The timing of daily operations isn’t a coincidence…
Paultons Park is gearing up for the launch of Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, opening 16th May 2026.
This brand-new themed land is one of the biggest investments in the park’s history and will introduce:
- Drakon – the park’s first inverting rollercoaster
- Vild Swing – a family thrill ride
- Raven – a re-themed bobsled coaster
- Viking-themed dining and play areas
The land is designed to bridge the gap between young families and thrill seekers, something Paultons has been gradually building toward.

Construction Continues Beyond 2026
Even with Valgard opening soon, the work isn’t stopping.
Plans are already in motion for another major attraction in 2027, with strong indications pointing toward a water-based ride experience.
This suggests:
- Paultons is committing to multi-year expansion
- Valgard is just phase one of a larger development
- The park is continuing its shift toward more thrill-focused attractions
With Valgard opening in May 2026 and new attractions already planned for 2027, this is no longer just a family park with Peppa Pig World — it’s becoming a serious competitor in the UK theme park scene.
