
Alton Towers Resort is celebrating a spellbinding victory after scooping multiple accolades at the prestigious UK Theme Park Awards 2025.
The Resort, nominated for an impressive 15 categories, enchanted the judges and fans alike – taking home 9 awards – which recognised the Resort’s unrivalled commitment to world-class thrills and unforgettable guest experiences.
The awards were held on Thursday 18th September at the historic Wicksteed Park.
The wins included Best Marketing Campaign and Best Social Media Content, as well as Best Queue Line Experience for Wicker Man.
This year’s ceremony, hosted by TV presenter Naomi Wilkinson, shone a spotlight on the very best of the UK theme park industry.
The accolades crown what has already been a thrilliant year for the Resort.
In March 2025, Alton Towers Resort unveiled Toxicator – the world’s highest top spin ride – which challenged fans to ‘submit to spin’ and take on the ride’s record-breaking adrenaline.
The magic doesn’t stop there: this October, Scarefest promises to plunge guests deeper into fear than ever before, with the launch of Edge of the Forest – the Resort’s most terrifying scare maze to date – and a brand-new scare zone, Dark Hollow.
For those daring to explore the Resort after dark in a different way, a brand-new VIP Ghost Tour has also been unveiled.
Equipped with professional-level ghost-hunting equipment, fans are invited to uncover the eerie secrets and spectral legends that linger in the shadows of the iconic Towers.
