Blackpool Pleasure Beach has confirmed the return of its much-anticipated Late Night Riding & Fireworks events for the upcoming season, promising thrill-seekers even more evening excitement and after-hours entertainment this year.
The popular late-season gatherings give visitors the chance to ride the park’s iconic rollercoasters and attractions well into the evening before topping off the night with a dazzling fireworks show high above the Blackpool skyline.
Ride After Dark with a Bang!
The Late Night Riding & Fireworks events transform the Pleasure Beach experience by extending opening hours and offering a unique way to enjoy classic rides after sunset. On selected dates throughout the summer and autumn, the park stays open into the night, allowing guests to take advantage of cooler temperatures and electrifying atmosphere as lights, music and the sound of coasters fill the air.
Each event culminates in a spectacular fireworks display, putting a colourful finale to the day’s thrills. The fireworks are scheduled to start around 10:00 pm, with themed shows and entertainment laid on across the park for attendees of all ages.
Dates and Operational Notes
Confirmed dates for this year’s late-night festivities include summer favourites such as 4th July, 25th July, 8th August and 29th August, along with a special autumn event on 28th November, where fireworks kick off earlier in the evening at around 5 pm.
However, visitors should note that some rides close earlier than regular park hours on these nights due to safety protocols around the firework exclusion zones.
Affected attractions include popular favourites like ICON, Big One, Avalanche and more.
Late Night Riding remains one of Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s most talked-about seasonal highlights, drawing both local families and out-of-town thrill-seekers. The atmosphere around the resort becomes electric as day blends into night, making classic rollercoaster thrills and pyrotechnics a memorable combo for guests heading into the park’s later operating months.
Ticket pricing typically reflects the extended experience, with Late Night Riding tickets slightly higher than day-time admission and often available to book online in advance.
