5 Things We Noticed About Chessington’s New World of PAW Patrol

Chessington World of Adventures has officially welcomed families into its brand-new World of PAW Patrol, the UK’s first dedicated land based on the hugely popular children’s TV series. Featuring four family rides, interactive play areas, character meet-and-greets and colourful theming throughout, it’s clear that this is one of Chessington’s biggest investments in recent years.

After taking a closer look around the new land, here are five things that really stood out to us.

1. The Attention to Detail Is Outstanding

The first thing you’ll notice is just how colourful and immersive the land feels.

From the moment you walk through the entrance, it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped into Adventure Bay. The famous Lookout Tower dominates the skyline, while themed buildings, music and decorations make every corner feel authentic.

It’s packed with little details that PAW Patrol fans will instantly recognise, making it just as enjoyable to explore as it is to ride.

2. Chase’s Mountain Mission Is the Perfect First Rollercoaster

Every family theme park needs a “first coaster”—and Chessington has absolutely nailed it.

Chase’s Mountain Mission delivers just enough speed, gentle drops and excitement to make younger riders feel brave without being overwhelming.

The ride tells a simple rescue story featuring Chase and Everest, giving children something to follow rather than simply riding around a track.

For many children, this could easily become their very first rollercoaster experience.

3. There’s More Than Just Rides

One of the biggest strengths of the new area is that it isn’t simply four rides placed together.

Families can enjoy:

  • Rubble & Rocky’s Play Zone
  • Character meet-and-greets
  • Interactive themed areas
  • Plenty of photo opportunities
  • A dedicated shop full of PAW Patrol merchandise

This means younger children who aren’t riding constantly still have lots to do throughout the day.

4. Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure Is Surprisingly Fun

Before opening, many people were curious about Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure.

As the UK’s first “Drifter” ride, it offers something completely different from the usual spinning family attraction. Riders glide, twist and drift around the course, making it one of the most unique attractions in the land.

It’s gentle enough for younger guests but entertaining enough that adults won’t mind riding it multiple times.

5. It’s Already One of Chessington’s Most Popular Areas

It didn’t take long for World of PAW Patrol to become one of the busiest parts of the park.

Families have been making a beeline for the new land, with the biggest queues often forming around Chase’s Mountain Mission and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure. Visitors on community forums have also reported that the new area can become especially busy between late morning and mid-afternoon, making an early visit or returning later in the day a good strategy.

While the popularity means longer waits at peak times, it also shows just how successful Chessington’s newest investment has been.

World of PAW Patrol feels like exactly what Chessington needed.

The resort has always been known for its family-friendly attractions, and this new land strengthens that reputation even further. Rather than trying to appeal to thrill seekers, Chessington has focused on delivering an immersive experience designed for young families—and it works brilliantly.

With four attractions, themed play areas, character experiences and impressive attention to detail, World of PAW Patrol offers plenty of reasons for families to return again and again.

If you’ve got little PAW Patrol fans in your family, this is likely to become one of the highlights of any visit to Chessington.
