Thrill-seekers are being given a glimpse of what it is like to experience Drakon after dark, as Paultons Park showcases its thrilling new rollercoaster in the atmospheric surroundings of Valgard: Realm of the Vikings.
The park has shared an exciting video asking visitors: “Are you ready to face the drop… at night?” – giving fans a taste of what awaits those brave enough to take on the mighty Drakon.
Drakon: The Crown Jewel of Valgard
Located within Paultons Park’s Valgard: Realm of the Vikings area, Drakon is the park’s first-ever inverting rollercoaster and one of its biggest thrill attractions.
The ride begins with a nerve-shredding vertical lift hill, taking riders skywards before sending them hurtling down a beyond-vertical drop.
But the thrills don’t stop there.
Warriors are launched through two heart-pounding inversions, delivering an intense experience designed to turn ordinary visitors into true Viking legends.
Even More Thrilling After Dark
While Drakon promises plenty of excitement during daylight hours, experiencing the coaster at night adds another dimension to the ride.
With darkness surrounding the track, riders are left to anticipate every twist, turn and inversion as they race through the Viking-themed attraction.
The nighttime footage gives fans a different perspective of the coaster and highlights why Drakon is already a major attraction within Paultons Park.
