Today (25 October 2026) is the final day for the public to submit feedback on Paultons Park’s proposed holiday village, as the consultation on the ambitious masterplan reaches its deadline.

The Hampshire theme park is inviting local residents, visitors, businesses and other interested parties to share their views on plans for a new accommodation development next to the existing park.

Anyone wishing to comment on the proposals should visit the official consultation website and submit their feedback before the consultation closes today.

What Is Paultons Park Proposing?

The proposed development would create a holiday village directly adjacent to Paultons Park, offering guests the opportunity to stay on site as part of a family theme park break.

The emerging masterplan features a range of accommodation options, including:

  • Lakeside lodges
  • Riverside lodges
  • Treehouses
  • A-frame cabins
  • Parkside suites
  • Burrowed lodges

The proposals also include a central lake, landscaped areas, nature trails and shared outdoor spaces designed to complement the surrounding environment.

A welcome building is planned to feature check-in facilities, a restaurant and bar, a shop and guest accommodation. Other proposed facilities include a village square, interactive water-play fountains, natural outdoor play areas, entertainment space and an indoor games room.

A dedicated entrance would also connect holiday village guests directly to Paultons Park.

Environment, Access and the Local Community

The consultation also covers environmental considerations, access arrangements and the potential impact of the development on the surrounding community.

Under the emerging plans, guest vehicles would be directed to a reconfigured existing car park, keeping the accommodation areas free from regular car traffic. Electric buggies are proposed to help guests transport their luggage.

The development remains at the consultation and design stage. The proposals are subject to further development and the planning process, and no confirmed opening date has been announced.

How to Have Your Say Before the Deadline

The public consultation closes today, Sunday 25 October 2026.

Members of the public can explore the proposed masterplan, view the accommodation designs and review information about the environment and community access before submitting their comments through the official consultation website.

Visit the official Paultons Park Masterplan Consultation website to review the proposals and access the feedback form.

Following the consultation, feedback will be considered alongside advice from relevant consultees as the project team refines its proposals ahead of a formal planning application.

What Happens Next?

The end of the consultation does not mean the holiday village has received planning permission. The feedback will help inform the next stage of the proposals before a formal planning application is submitted.

For Paultons Park, the proposed development could represent a significant addition to the visitor experience, potentially allowing families to combine their theme park visit with an on-site stay.

With the consultation deadline arriving today, anyone who wants to share their views should review the plans and submit their feedback as soon as possible.
