Water Kingdom – Closed

Water Kingdom will be closed throughout the Halloween Spooktacular period.

The water attraction is one of the seasonal attractions at Paultons Park and will not be available to guests during the October Halloween event.

Seal Falls – Closed

Seal Falls is another attraction that will be closed during the Halloween season.

Paultons Park currently lists Seal Falls as unavailable throughout the Halloween event.

These three attractions are listed by Paultons Park as closed during the Halloween Spooktacular, which runs from 9 October to 2 November 2026.

Velociraptor – Closed 1-11 October

The Velociraptor rollercoaster in Lost Kingdom is scheduled to close for maintenance from:

1 October – 11 October 2026

The ride is therefore expected to be unavailable during the first part of October.

Velociraptor is one of Paultons Park’s dinosaur-themed attractions, so visitors planning a trip during the first week of October should take the temporary closure into account.

According to Paultons Park, the ride is scheduled to reopen after 11 October, subject to operational availability.

Sky Swinger – Closed 12-18 October

The Sky Swinger is scheduled to close for maintenance from:

12 October – 18 October 2026

This means guests visiting during this seven-day period will not be able to ride Sky Swinger.

The attraction is scheduled to return after 18 October, subject to availability.

What about the other rides?

The good news for October visitors is that the majority of Paultons Park’s rides are scheduled to operate during the Halloween Spooktacular, subject to availability.

The park has more than 70 rides and attractions across its site, including Peppa Pig World, Lost Kingdom, Tornado Springs and the new Valgard: Realm of the Vikings.

The Halloween Spooktacular runs from 9 October until 2 November 2026, with special late-night openings on 17, 23, 24, 27, 28 and 29 October. Peppa Pig World closes at 6pm on those late-night dates.

Could other rides close during your visit?

Yes. The planned maintenance list is not the only reason a ride can become unavailable.

Paultons Park says rides can also be affected by weather conditions including high winds, very heavy rain, thunderstorms and very low temperatures. The park monitors weather conditions and can adjust ride operations when necessary.
