The popular seaside amusement park Adventure Coast Southport has confirmed it will reopen to guests on Saturday 28 March, bringing rides and family attractions back to the Lancashire coast.
Visitors will be able to enter the park completely free of charge, with rides operating on a pay-per-ride basis starting from just £1. The park will operate every weekend from 11am to 5pm, as well as daily during school holidays, offering a limited but popular selection of attractions.
Classic Rides Return for the Season
For the reopening period, guests will be able to enjoy a select line-up of rides across two themed areas: Cartoon Boardwalk and Viking Landing.
Among the attractions expected to operate are several classic fairground favourites including:
- Dodgems
- Waltzer
- Log Flume
- Twister
These rides are some of the park’s most recognisable attractions and are expected to be among the biggest draws during the spring reopening weekends.
Flexible Ride Options for Visitors
Adventure Coast is giving guests two ways to enjoy the rides:
- Pay Per Ride – individual rides starting from £1
- Unlimited Rider Wristband – offering all-day access to the available attractions
With free entry to the park, visitors can explore the atmosphere of the seaside attraction without needing to purchase a ticket unless they wish to ride.
Food and Treats Also Returning
Alongside the rides, several popular food outlets will reopen for the season, including:
- Fresh fish & chips
- Della’s Diner
- The park’s Waffle Shop
These options give guests a range of classic theme park snacks and seaside favourites during their visit.
Preparing for a Major Autumn Event
While the park will operate a reduced line-up of attractions during the early season, Adventure Coast says teams are working behind the scenes to prepare for a major autumn celebration.
The park is currently gearing up for its “Day of the Dead” event this November, which is expected to transform the park with themed entertainment and seasonal festivities.
Until then, the Saturday openings and school holiday operations offer visitors the chance to return to the rides they love while preparations continue for the park’s biggest seasonal event of the year.
