Exciting plans are taking shape at Pleasurewood Hills as the park looks ahead to its 2027 season.
One of the owners of Pleasurewood Hills, Freddy Stokes, recently spoke about the future of Wipeout during a radio interview, confirming that the popular ride will remain closed for the time being.
However, there is reportedly some good news for thrill-seekers, with the ride currently understood to be on track to reopen in time for the Halloween half-term event.
Wipeout Could Return for Halloween
Wipeout has remained closed while work continues at the park, but its potential return later this year will be welcome news for visitors who have been waiting to experience the ride again.
The reported target is to have Wipeout back in operation for Pleasurewood Hills’ Halloween half-term event, giving guests the chance to ride it during one of the park’s busiest periods of the year.
The exact reopening date and any further details about the work required have yet to be confirmed.
FOUR New Rides Coming in 2027
But Wipeout isn’t the only thing Pleasurewood Hills visitors have to look forward to.
Freddy Stokes has confirmed plans for FOUR new rides to be added to the park for the 2027 season, following what has been described as a hugely successful first year under the new ownership.
The announcement represents a significant investment in the future of the Suffolk theme park and suggests that the owners have big ambitions for Pleasurewood Hills.
Details of the four new rides have not yet been revealed, meaning there is plenty for theme park fans to speculate about in the months ahead.
More Changes Planned
The plans for 2027 are also expected to go beyond the four new rides, with more improvements and additions planned for the park.
With the new ownership now looking ahead to its second season, 2027 could prove to be an important year for Pleasurewood Hills as it continues to develop its attraction line-up and offer visitors new reasons to return.
For now, fans will have to wait for further announcements to discover exactly what is coming.
But with four new rides confirmed for 2027 and the potential return of Wipeout for Halloween, there is already plenty to look forward to at Pleasurewood Hills.
