Alton Towers has confirmed that Spinball Whizzer is currently closed for essential maintenance.
The popular spinning rollercoaster, located in the X-Sector area of the theme park, is temporarily unavailable while maintenance work is carried out.
Guests planning a visit should check the latest Alton Towers ride availability before travelling, as the closure may affect their day.
Spinball Whizzer will reopen once the essential maintenance has been completed and the ride is cleared to operate safely.
