Air Race opened at Drayton Manor in July 2014. It quickly became a favorite among thrill-seekers for its dynamic and exciting ride experience.

Get onto an aircraft and launch yourself on an incredible flight across the heavens, swooping and plunging, flying and racing. However, riders should be advised that this is not a trip for the weak of heart!

The ride was manufactured by Zamperla, an Italian company known for creating a wide range of amusement rides and roller coasters.
Air Race simulates the experience of piloting a stunt plane. Riders are seated in pairs in planes attached to a central arm. The planes spin around the central arm, while also rotating individually, creating a sensation of barrel rolls and loop-the-loops.

Air Race at Drayton Manor is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the thrill of aerobatic flight without leaving the ground. Its combination of spins, flips, and high speeds makes it a standout attraction in the park’s lineup.

Air Race can accommodate up to 24 riders at a time, with each plane seating two riders. This helps to keep queues moving relatively quickly.
