The Cyclonator opened to the public in 2021 as part of the new Tornado Springs themed area at Paultons Park. It quickly became a highlight of the park due to its unique ride experience.
The Cyclonator itself is themed as a giant farm machinery piece, adding to the immersive experience of the area.

The Cyclonator is a giant gyro swing ride. It features a large disc that seats 30 riders in a circular arrangement. The disc swings back and forth like a pendulum while simultaneously spinning, creating a combination of high speeds, airtime, and centrifugal forces. (Image: Richard Smiler Jones)
