The Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach turns 100 today.
The Big Dipper was extended in 1936 by Charlie Paige and Joe Emberton.
World record rollercoaster marathon rider Richard Rodriguez rode the Big Dipper for an incredible three months non-stop, day and night!
Big Dipper officially reopened in July 2023 after nine months of Refurbishment works, the ride received new paint in areas and maintenance on its track and structure.
On 23rd August, Blackpool Pleasure Beach are throwing a birthday bash for there world famous classic rollercoaster and pleasure beach icon!
