With the Easter holidays now behind us, UK theme parks are moving into off-peak spring operations, bringing a mix of midweek closures and ride downtime across the country.

Thorpe Park Resort and LEGOLAND Windsor Resort will both be closed on Wednesday 22 April 2026.

These closures are part of the usual post-Easter schedule changes, with parks reducing midweek operations during quieter periods.

Chessington Closed for Two Days

Chessington World of Adventures will be closed on Tuesday 21 April and Wednesday 22 April.

Visitors planning a trip should check opening calendars in advance to avoid disappointment.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach Closed Early Week

Blackpool Pleasure Beach will be closed on Monday 20 April and Tuesday 21 April.

The park is expected to reopen later in the week as part of its reduced spring schedule.

Ride Closure: Launch Pad at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Launch Pad will be closed from Wednesday 22 April through to Friday 24 April 2026.

Paultons Park has confirmed that Kontiki will be closed from 20 April to 26 April 2026.
