BoldMove Nation announced at IAAPA Expo in Barcelona the new media dark ride in the Norwegian Hunderfossen Family Park, featuring their new Rogue Rides trackless vehicles. Together with media partner Qvisten Animation, a renown Oslo-based animation studio, they now reveal the theme of this exciting new dark ride that is slated to open in May 2026.
The new Rally Flåklypa media dark ride is being fitted into an existing building at Hunderfossen for visitors to relive the race of the movie together with the characters. Alongside the media, a combination of technologies like sound and projection are used to immerse the participants into the universe of Reodor Felgen and his friends.
The media scenes are precisely synchronized with the movements of the vehicle, making guests feel like they are truly part of the race. The new dark ride complements the current park area around this IP with the existing Il Tempo Extra Gigante rollercoaster and the THEA awarded Flåklypa 5D-cinema.
The Ride: Bringing IP magic alive
The design team of BoldMove and Qvisten work hand in hand to translate the magic of the IP into an experience that merges physical and digital worlds. The capabilities of the ride system lift up the IP, synchronizing media with the vehicle movements: from sliding to spinning.
BoldMove delivers the ride system and trajectories, as well as AV technologies and theming design. A fully immersive experience is powered by the new Kamino show control system, which integrates next-generation imaging and management technology, special effects, and a combined onboard and landside sound system.
Qvisten develops all media content for the ride and preshow to guide visitors up to the actual race. This is based on the storyline and the third movie they produced based on this famous IP, which emerges from the extraordinay world of author Kjell Aukrust.

The Story: David against Goliath
The animation movie is being released in Norway on Christmas Day and features a crazy inventor named Reodor, a master in recycling and a clever mind. Being expelled from the village of Flåklypa for his dangerous creations, he wants to re-establish his status. Together with his friends, a fearless bird and a neurotic hedgehog, they sign up for the legendary Paris-Dakar rally to promote their eco-friendly fuel “Methane Rapido Potente”.
The fuel is based on cow-burps and cow-farts, and to prove its potential they have to win the race. Electric car mogul Ellen Busk feels threathend by their invention and sabotages their attempts. In a ferocious and dangerous car race through crowded city streets and hot deserts, our heroes can lose their invention, their friendship and even their lives…
