This December, LEGOLAND Windsor is doing something special — for the first time ever they’re inviting dogs to join the Christmas fun with their families. The “Paws in the Park” event is a brand-new initiative that allows well-behaved pets and their owners to explore the Resort as part of the festive season.
When & How It Works
- Dogs (and their humans) are welcome on select dates only: 30th November, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th December 2025.
- To bring a dog, you’ll need to purchase a Pet Pass — £10 per dog.
- On arrival, head straight to Guest Services to complete a “Dog Owner Information” form. Without it, admission won’t be allowed.
- You’ll need to bring your own supplies: there’s no dog food available for purchase on site, and you must clean up any dog waste yourself.
Your dog must be
- microchipped,
- on a non-extendable lead at all times (these are not sold at the Resort),
- kept under your supervision at all times (no leaving dogs unattended or tied up).
What’s On for You & Your Pooch
Once inside, you and your dog can join in all kinds of festive fun:
- Explore the Resort’s Christmas-themed “Christmas Kingdom,” where the decorations, atmosphere and holiday magic make for a proper seasonal outing.
- Enjoy live entertainment such as a strolling brass band with a Nutcracker character, seasonal LEGO® building activities, and festive ambience throughout the park.
- Well-behaved pups (on the “nice list” 😉) can even meet Father Christmas — after 5 pm, provided the accompanying human has a valid Christmas Kingdom booking.
- Every visiting dog will receive their very own “Pop Badge” to mark their first trip to LEGOLAND — a fun keepsake of their special day out.
Important Rules & Tips You Should Know
When bringing your dog to LEGOLAND, there are some key conditions to follow to make sure everyone — humans and hounds — stays safe and happy:
- Dogs must never enter ride areas, queue lines, indoor attractions (like LEGO theme features, build/play areas, 4D cinemas, hotel or accommodation zones) — unless they’re registered assistance dogs.
- Only one attraction is dog-friendly: the Hill Train.
- You must carry waste-bags and clean up after your dog immediately; failure to do so (or leaving a dog unattended) could result in removal from the park — with no refund — and a possible on-the-spot £50 fine.
- Bring water if needed — while there are water-bowl stations around the park (in various lands), good hydration during winter walks is still wise.
- Dogs on the banned list under the UK Dangerous Dogs Breed Ban are not permitted — check before booking.
“Paws in the Park” at LEGOLAND Windsor feels like a clever, inclusive twist to the usual Christmas-attraction offering. It opens up the heartwarming possibility of a festive day out where no family member — furry or human — gets left behind. For responsible dog-owners comfortable with the environment, it can be a memorable, happy way to enjoy the festive atmosphere together with loved ones, including four-legged friends.
For a family travel blog aimed at UK visitors (like yours), this is a strong candidate for a seasonal feature: it combines festive charm, family fun and an added pet-friendly angle — something many UK families will genuinely appreciate.
