If you’re looking for something a little different from the usual theme park day out this summer, Landmark Forest Adventure Park is turning up the fun with its popular Foam Days.
The Scottish attraction will host its foamy family event on 22 and 23 August 2026, with a second opportunity to experience the event on 24 and 25 October.
And as you might expect from an event called Foam Days, visitors should be prepared to get very wet — and very foamy!
Get Ready for a Foamy Ride
The main attraction during Foam Days will be Landmark’s Wild Water Coasters, where guests can take on the Otter, Wildcat and Falcon slides with a rather unusual twist.
Instead of simply splashing down at the end of the ride, visitors will find themselves emerging from a cloud of foam.
It sounds like exactly the sort of experience that could produce some brilliant family photographs — although keeping your camera dry might be another matter!
Landmark describes the experience as an explosion of foamy fun for the whole family, giving visitors the chance to experience the park’s water rides in a completely different way.
There’s More Than Just Foam
The fun doesn’t stop at the Wild Water Coasters.
Each Foam Day will also feature a Bubble Party at Dinosaur Kingdom, running from 12:30pm until 4pm.
Visitors can expect music, bubbles and plenty of opportunities to get involved, with Landmark encouraging guests to dress up and join in with the bubbly celebration.
For the August and October Foam Days, DJ Charlie Wright will also be providing the music.
This gives the event a real party atmosphere and means there’s something happening away from the water rides too.
Don’t Forget Your Waterproofs!
If you’re planning on visiting, Landmark has one very important piece of advice: come prepared to get wet.
The park recommends wearing waterproof clothing and wellies for Foam Days.
It’s worth taking that advice seriously. Between the water rides, foam and bubble party, staying completely dry probably shouldn’t be part of the plan!
There are also some operational considerations. Landmark says restrictions on the Wildcat and Otter slides may change throughout the day depending on foam build-up and weather conditions.
Ride operators will have the final say over who can safely use each attraction, while the Falcon slide will operate as normal.
When Are Landmark’s Foam Days?
There are four Foam Days taking place during 2026:
August
- Saturday 22 August
- Sunday 23 August
October
- Saturday 24 October
- Sunday 25 October
The August dates could make for a particularly unusual summer family day out, while the October dates offer another opportunity to experience the event during the autumn season.
How Much Does Landmark Forest Adventure Park Cost?
Foam Days take place as part of a normal day at Landmark Forest Adventure Park, with the park’s summer admission prices applying.
For the 2026 summer season, standard on-the-day prices are currently:
- Adult: £39
- Child: £37
- Senior: £37
- 3-year-old: £17
- Under 3s: Free
There are also discounted advance booking prices, with adults currently able to save £5 by booking ahead.
The standard day ticket includes the park’s attractions, meaning visitors can enjoy the wider Landmark experience alongside the Foam Days activities.
A Different Kind of Theme Park Event
One of the things that makes Foam Days stand out is how simple the idea is.
Theme parks regularly introduce seasonal entertainment, characters, shows and decorations, but there’s something refreshingly different about taking an attraction such as the Wild Water Coasters and adding a huge amount of foam to the experience.
For families with children who love getting messy, it could be one of those days where the journey home involves trying to work out just how much foam has managed to follow everyone back!
And with the Bubble Party taking place throughout the afternoon, there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved even if you’re not constantly riding the water attractions.
