One of Drayton Manor’s most exhilarating attractions when it opened in 2004 was the gravity-defying Pandemonium, with its notorious swinging gondolas that sent riders skyrocketing 360 degrees.
64 riders on 2 massive gondolas swung through 360 degrees at a height of nearly 25 metres and a force of 3.8 Gs!!
The ride experience typically lasted around 2 to 3 minutes.
Riders enjoyed panoramic views of Drayton Manor and the surrounding area as the ride swung back and forth.
Pandemonium was a popular attraction at Drayton Manor, appealing to thrill-seekers and those looking for an adrenaline rush.
It really did turn your world upside down!
Pandemonium closed in 2021 to pave the way for exciting new developments to the park.
