Visitors heading to Drayton Manor this week will once again notice that Air Race remains unavailable, with the popular thrill ride continuing to appear on the park’s daily ride availability list as closed.

The Zamperla Air Race attraction, which first opened in 2014, has been a favourite among thrill seekers thanks to its unique flying manoeuvres, intense G-forces and 360-degree rotations. However, the attraction has yet to return to operation during the 2026 season.

No Reopening Date Confirmed

At the time of writing, Drayton Manor has not announced an official reopening date for Air Race.

The ride continues to be listed under the park’s “Rides Closed Today” section alongside a small number of other attractions, while the majority of the park’s rides are operating as normal.
