Camel Creek is thrilled to announce its nominations in two categories at the Theme Park Awards this month.
After a year of refurbishments, upgrades, brand new attractions and events, Camel Creek has worked hard to make the park the best it can be for visitors.
As Camel Creek prepares for its biggest summer event yet, Kids Fest, the adventure park is delighted to have been nominated for two awards: Best Theme Park for Toddlers and Best Accessibility Initiative.
Camel Creek’s Toddler Takeover Sessions have been a big hit with the local community, featuring exclusive midweek sessions with toddler-friendly activities such as indoor play and the chance to see a variety of animals. As part of the park’s major upgrade, the indoor play areas have been improved, including the addition of the new Hidden Garden Indoor Play, which is perfect for young visitors.
Since reopening in 2024, Camel Creek has also added a Changing Places Toilet facility, installed by Closomat, Britain’s leading disabled toileting solutions company. This addition aims to offer more accessible and comfortable facilities for all visitors. Camel Creek is committed to offering an accessible experience for guests with disabilities or additional needs and will soon partner with Nimbus, a top provider of disability-related advice and support for professional organisations.
Graham Hayes, General Manager of Camel Creek commented: “I’m incredibly proud of our team and all the hard work that has led to nominations for not just one, but two awards this season. It’s wonderful to see our focus on toddler-friendly activities being recognised, we’re glad to offer attractions for visitors of all ages. I hope being nominated for an accessibility award this year reflects our commitment to making the park accessible for everyone. We’ll continue to aim for the highest standards in this area. Thank you to all our supportive visitors and nominators—please do vote for us!”
Voting is now open, with winners announced later this Summer! Camel Creek encourages everyone to have their vote! Each vote is appreciated.
