Get ready for the ride of your life on one of the only two stand-up coasters in Europe.
Introduced as Drayton Manor’s signature ride in 1994, it was a sensation, with over 1 million guests riding it every year.
The £4 million white-knuckle ride of a lifetime whirled passengers to a dizzy height of 120 feet, then swirled them through nearly four times the force of gravity in a series of loops, corkscrews and turns – including a heart-line spiral unique to this type of coaster.
It was daring and breathtakingly different and rightly deserved its accolade of being voted “The Best Stand-Up Roller Coaster in the World” by the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain.
The rollercoaster debuted in 1994 in the United Kingdom alongside The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Nemesis at Alton Towers.
In the winter, it will be completely transformed with a new sit-down train that can accommodate passengers as small as 1.2 metres, ready for use in the spring of 2024.
The ride now has a minimum height requirement of 1.4 metres.
