Summer is well underway, with UK theme parks welcoming visitors for another busy week of rides, live entertainment and seasonal events. Here’s everything happening at UK theme parks this week.

Windy Castle Ride Closed at Paultons Park

Visitors to Paultons Park should be aware that Windy Castle Ride remains closed for scheduled maintenance.

The attraction is expected to remain closed until:

  • 12 July 2026

All other major attractions, including VALGARD: Realm of the Vikings and Peppa Pig World, remain open.

FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience Continues at LEGOLAND Windsor

The FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience continues at LEGOLAND Windsor this week.

Families can enjoy football-themed activities alongside the park’s fantastic selection of rides and attractions, making it a great summer day out for football fans and LEGO lovers alike.

Rock ‘n’ Rumble Comes to Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor is hosting its Rock ‘n’ Rumble event on:

  • 11 July 2026
  • 12 July 2026

Guests can look forward to a weekend packed with high-energy entertainment, larger-than-life characters and plenty of country-style fun.

Highlights include a fantastic Shania Twain tribute act, performing many of the singer’s biggest hits to provide the perfect soundtrack for a summer day at the park.

Lightwater Valley Closed on Friday

Lightwater Valley will be closed on Friday 10 July 2026.

The park is expected to operate as normal on its scheduled opening days either side of the closure.

Extended Opening at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool Pleasure Beach will be open with extended hours on:

  • Wednesday 8 July 2026
  • Opening hours: 10:00am – 8:00pm

Visitors can enjoy even more time on the park’s famous rides and attractions during the longer summer opening day.

Diggerland Now Open Daily

Great news for construction fans as Diggerland is now open daily across all four UK parks for the summer season.

Whether you’re visiting Kent, Devon, Durham or Yorkshire, guests can enjoy driving, digging and operating real construction machinery alongside a range of family attractions.
