Alton Towers Resort has officially announced the return of its popular Alton After Dark event — giving guests the opportunity to experience some of the UK’s most thrilling rollercoasters under the stars.
Running on selected dates at the start of the 2026 season the park will extend its opening hours until 8 pm, allowing visitors to ride favourites like Nemesis Reborn, Wicker Man, Oblivion and more in the cover of night.
2026 Dates:
- 14th -15th March
- 20th – 22nd March
- 27th – 28th March
Guests can also choose to extend their visit by staying overnight at one of the resort’s themed hotels, making it an ideal short break that combines daytime rides, evening thrills, and comfortable accommodation.
