A huge new adventure is coming to SEA LIFE Blackpool in 2026 as the attraction prepares to launch an immersive Jurassic-themed ocean tunnel experience.
The brand-new walkthrough tunnel will transport guests into a prehistoric underwater world filled with sharks, rays, tropical fish, and detailed ancient theming.
Behind the scenes, the project is already making waves:
- 🌊 500,000 litres of seawater pumped from the Blackpool coast over 14 tides
- 🛠️ 1,000kg of fibreglass resin used during construction
- 🪨 24 tonnes of gravel added to create the immersive environment
Visitors heading to SEA LIFE Blackpool during May Half-Term can also get an early glimpse at some of the exciting changes taking place ahead of the full opening next year.
The new addition looks set to become one of Blackpool’s must-visit family attractions for 2026.
