Clacton Pier has celebrated a successful start to its 2026 events programme after its brand-new Pirates Ahoy! event proved a major hit with families during the May half-term holidays.
Running across nine action-packed days, the pirate-themed event transformed the famous seaside attraction into a swashbuckling adventure, offering visitors a range of free entertainment and activities designed for all ages.
Families visiting the pier were treated to live pirate shows, interactive treasure hunts, roaming pirate characters and plenty of opportunities to join in the fun.
