Big Scottish Weekender Comes to Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Blackpool Pleasure Beach will host the Big Scottish Weekender on:

- 28 June 2026
The popular event brings a packed weekend of entertainment alongside the park’s impressive lineup of rides and attractions.
Guests can also experience recently reopened favourites including:
- Grand National
- Valhalla
- AVIKTAS
Farmyard Flyer Remains Closed at Paultons Park
Paultons Park continues maintenance work on Farmyard Flyer.
The attraction remains closed as part of its scheduled maintenance programme.
Vild Swing Closed for Maintenance
Also at Paultons Park, Vild Swing will be unavailable between:
- 22 June and 25 June 2026
The temporary closure is due to planned maintenance work.
The rest of the park, including the recently opened VALGARD: Realm of the Vikings, remains open.
Fantasy Island Closed Early Week
Fantasy Island will be closed on:
- Monday 22 June
- Tuesday 23 June
The park is expected to reopen later in the week.
Adventure Island Open Weekends Only
Adventure Island continues to operate on a weekends-only schedule.
Visitors should check opening dates before travelling.
Lightwater Valley Open Weekends Only
Lightwater Valley remains open on weekends only during June.
Guests can continue to enjoy the park’s attractions, including the popular Spinning Racer family coaster.
