Nigloland has officially announced SUPERSONIC 1887, a brand-new roller coaster set to open at the French theme park in 2027.
Revealed with the slogan “Welcome to the era of SUPERSONIC 1887”, the attraction appears to combine historic railway theming with a high-speed coaster experience. Promotional artwork features a steam locomotive, teasing a unique adventure inspired by the golden age of rail travel.
While full details have yet to be revealed, SUPERSONIC 1887 is expected to become one of the park’s biggest attractions ever. The coaster is being manufactured by Mack Rides and is rumoured to feature multiple launches, inversions and a top height of around 43 metres.
The new attraction forms part of Nigloland’s continued expansion and is already generating excitement among roller coaster enthusiasts across Europe.
More information about SUPERSONIC 1887 is expected to be released as construction progresses ahead of its 2027 opening.
