Fantasy Island is getting ready to transform for Halloween, with the Lincolnshire theme park announcing its Fear Island event for 2026.
The park has teased that as summer comes to an end, the gates will begin to creak open on a darker experience, promising scares, immersive entertainment and late-night thrills for visitors brave enough to enter.
Fear Island begins on 17 October 2026.
Fantasy Island says the event will offer something for everyone, from those looking for smaller scares to guests seeking something considerably more intense.
Scare attraction coming to Fantasy Island
One of the biggest parts of this year’s event will be a scare attraction, which will form part of the Fear Island experience.
The park is promising an attraction designed to mess with visitors’ minds, turn stomachs and get hearts racing, with different levels of fear available depending on how brave guests are feeling.
Alongside the scare attraction, visitors will also be able to experience a fully immersive Fear Zone, adding another layer of Halloween atmosphere throughout the event.
Scream Passes offer more chances to face the fear
Fantasy Island will also introduce Scream Passes, allowing guests to come and go from the Halloween experience as they dare.
The passes are designed for those who want to make the most of the event and experience the scares multiple times during their visit.
For guests who prefer their Halloween celebrations to continue late into the evening, Fantasy Island is also planning special late-night scares and fireworks on Saturday 24 October and Saturday 31 October.
These dates are set to provide some of the biggest Halloween nights of the season at the park.
Fear Island starts 17 October
With the event beginning on 17 October, Fear Island will give visitors the opportunity to experience Fantasy Island in a very different way during the Halloween season.
The park is encouraging guests to book their tickets online, with online bookings offering savings on admission.
