Aviktas at Pleasure Beach Resort has been recognised among the “Best Ride(s) of the Year” at the Park World Excellence Awards.
The major new thrill ride has brought a new experience to Pleasure Beach Resort in Blackpool, combining impressive scale, airtime, rotation and a striking visual presence.
Aviktas is powered by an advanced direct drive system, allowing the ride to reach its full height in just a few swings. The technology also helps reduce operating noise, while the ride can recover up to 40% of the energy required to operate.
The recognition at the Park World Excellence Awards highlights the ambition behind the project and the work of the teams and partners involved in bringing Aviktas to life.
For Pleasure Beach Resort, the award adds further recognition to one of the resort’s newest major attractions and its continued investment in new thrill experiences.
