Lights, Action, Christmas Magic: “Movie Park’s Hollywood Christmas” Brings New Festive Highlights This Winter!

When over a million lights illuminate the streets of Ho-Ho-Hollywood, Christmas music fills the air on the movie set, and more than ten entertainment highlights create an authentic American holiday atmosphere, the most festive time of the year begins at Movie Park Germany. This year, “Movie Park’s Hollywood Christmas” offers a range of new highlights for the whole family: A new “Christmas Tree Celebration”, the festive winter edition of Movie Park’s Parade of Celebration, a new tubing experience on an icy slide, and revamped shows featuring fresh elements and songs bring sparkling Christmas magic to Germany’s largest movie and theme park.

Adding even more American Christmas flair this year is a tour stop by the world-famous Coca-Cola Xmas Truck.

“Movie Park’s Hollywood Christmas” transforms the park from November 27, 2026, through January 5, 2027, into a festively staged Christmas movie set, where entertainment, an American holiday atmosphere, and shared family moments take center stage. To enhance the Christmas feeling, further investments have been made in lighting and decorations.

“With each season, we aim to further develop our winter event and create new, cinematic experiences,” says General Manager Thorsten Backhaus. “In the fourth year of ‘Movie Park’s Hollywood Christmas,’ numerous highlights for all generations await our guests, so they can spend the Christmas season with us and feel like they’re in an American Christmas movie.”

Just like in a typical Christmas classic, “Movie Park’s Hollywood Christmas” is sure to feature emotional moments, music, and plenty of entertainment.

This year, the popular “Christmas Tree Celebration” gets a completely new script. The spotlight is not just on the elves Holly and Jolly, the nutcrackers, and Santa Claus—it is especially on the grumpy film clapperboard S.A.D., who’s determined to prevent the big Christmas tree from being lit by any means necessary. With his usual moody attitude, he tries to throw the festive ceremony into complete disarray.

The revamped “Christmas Tree Celebration” kicks off the festive evening on every event day, lighting up the giant Christmas tree and the park’s streets in a dazzling display of lights.

All guests looking for a little extra action alongside the authentic American Christmas atmosphere can experience a new tubing experience on an icy slide for the first time this year, presented in partnership with Ice-World. Riding on special snow tubes, they can speed down the icy slope and enjoy a fun-filled winter thrill. This new attraction is available for a small additional fee and adds an extra dose of fun to the event program.

“Movie Park’s Parade of Celebration – Winter Edition” brings new sparkle to the Christmas set. The grand anniversary parade celebrating the park’s 30^th anniversary is getting a festive makeover this winter. Decorated parade floats, magical Christmas characters, choreographed moves and show stops filled with music, dance, and Christmas magic create dazzling moments for the whole family and make for a festive spectacle.
