This summer, PortAventura World is bringing the excitement of the Grand Prix to Ferrari Land with the “GP Festival” — a special event running from June 5 to July 19 that transforms the park into a meeting point for Ferrari fans, families, motorsport enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a summer experience with a racing spirit.
The event bridges the Ferrari universe with entertainment, family fun, and racingculture through an experience deorigned for a wide range of visitors — from die-hard motorsport fans to those simply looking for a summer outing connected to a competition that has long transcended the track to become a true cultural phenomenon.
For over six weeks, Ferrari Land will be dressed in a special atmosphere inspired by theGrand Prix world, complete with a fan zone in the main square, spaces to follow the races live, and content tied to the current season. On race weekends, visitors can watch the Grands Prix from iconic spots such as Pit Lane and the Red Force grandstand, with coverage of the Monaco, Barcelona, Austrian, British, and Belgian GPs.
Live entertainment: parades, music, and performance
Live programming is one of the festival’s headline features. Ferrari Land will debut “GP Parade” — a brand-new street animation show starring a float inspired by a racing truck, surrounded by music, dance, and live performances throughout the park.
The festival also marks the premiere of “Born to Race”, Ferrari Land’s exciting new show. Drawing on the Ferrari heritage of the 1950s and 70s, the production blends acrobatics dance, original music, and stunning visuals to tell the story of a young boy captivated by the roar of engines and the dream of one day becoming a Ferrari driver.
The programme is rounded out by a range of interactive experiences across the park. A collaboration with Carrera brings slot car circuits to Ferrari Land — including a tracinspired by the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the fan zone, where visitors will be able to race scale replica vehicles.
On weekends, visitors will also be able to compete on the Pole Position Challenge simulators, which this season have debuted technical
upgrades and expanded with three new simulators for younger audiences — an activity designed to test their reflexes and chase the perfect lap
Family-friendly highlights include the GP Passport for children aged 8–12, an interactive GP Quiz on Ferrari’s history and a specially crafted food and drink menu featuring creations such as the Red Dream Waffle, the GP Menu, and Pizza al Taglio. With the “Ferrari GP Festival”, PortAventura World deepens the connection between Ferrari Land and the world of motorsport and offers a new way to experience the Grand Prix season beyond the screen, in an immersive, festive, and family-friendly setting where the race becomes a shared adventure with friends, family, or a partner.
