Blackpool Pleasure Beach has confirmed that its iconic Grand National roller coaster will reopen to guests on June 13.
The historic wooden coaster has been closed since the start of the season while engineers carried out essential maintenance.
First opening in 1935, Grand National remains one of the UK’s most famous roller coasters and is one of only a few surviving racing wooden coasters in the world. The attraction is a firm favourite among enthusiasts thanks to its unique side-by-side racing layout.
The reopening comes just in time for the busy summer season, giving visitors the chance to once again experience one of Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s most iconic attractions.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of the classic coaster, with June 13 now set to mark its long-awaited comeback.
