Last week, Rob Beckett took his theme-park loving family to discover a theme park they had never been to before: Europa-Park. Last year, Beckett featured in the Europa-Park story-world based animated feature film ‘Grand Prix of Europe’, produced by Michael Mack, Managing Partner of Europa-Park and Founder of the entertainment company MACK Magic. Now, he wanted to see the park for himself. And it did not disappoint.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I knew that the family who own Europa-Park also own a ride manufacturer, so I was pretty sure the rides were going to be great. But what blew me away was the level of theming, the quality, the short queues and the affordable prices.

The Beckett family explored the entire resort, spending time in the Rulantica water world as well as in Europa-Park and the hotel resort. The rollercoasters were top of the list and a firm favourite throughout the visit.
We Brits tend to think we have to go all the way to Orlando for a great theme park experience. I’m amazed to have found this hidden gem, which is so much nearer and more affordable. We’re already planning to come back to check-out the other seasons.

With a number of flights as well as driving options, the Europa-Park Resort in the South-West of Germany is easily reachable for Brits who are looking for fantastic theme park experiences closer to home.
