The Big One, formerly known as the Pepsi Max Big One was designed by Ron Toomer and manufactured by Arrow Dynamics in 1994, forever altering the Blackpool skyline. The famous coaster was the world’s largest, fastest and steepest steel roller coaster, rising 235ft above Blackpool Pleasure Beach!

While no longer holding those titles, it remained the tallest roller coaster in the UK untill recently.
