Scarefest Returns This Weekend at Alton Towers

After last weekend’s Halloween action, Scarefest returns to Alton Towers from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October.

The 2026 event features a mixture of family Halloween entertainment and scarier experiences, with guests also able to experience some of the resort’s biggest rides after dark.

New for 2026 is Final Exhibit, joining the scare attraction line-up alongside Edge of the Forest, Altonville Mine Tours: Tiny’s Revenge and COMPOUND.

Families can also enjoy Trick O’ Treat Town with Haribo, Amigos in the Afterlife and the CBeebies Land Monster Ball.

Another new addition for 2026 is Dine with the Dead, an immersive Halloween dining experience featuring a three-course banquet and live entertainment.

Scarefest continues on selected dates until 1 November 2026.

Fright Nights Continues at Thorpe Park

Thorpe Park’s Fright Nights season is now underway as the resort celebrates 25 years of Fright Nights in 2026.

Visitors can expect scare attractions, live entertainment, scare zones and the opportunity to experience some of Thorpe Park’s biggest roller coasters after dark.

The Halloween event continues on selected dates throughout October and into the beginning of November.

Howl’o’ween Continues at Chessington

Halloween has also arrived at Chessington World of Adventures, with Howl’o’ween bringing family-friendly scares to the resort.

Visitors can expect Halloween entertainment, themed shows and the return of Enchanted Hollow – Trick or Treat.

Guests can also experience theme park rides as dusk falls, creating a different atmosphere around the park as the evenings become darker.

Brick or Treat Begins at LEGOLAND Windsor

Another major Halloween event begins this weekend as Brick or Treat returns to LEGOLAND Windsor.

The first dates are:

  • Saturday 10 October
  • Sunday 11 October

The event then returns from 17 October through to 1 November.

The LEGO Monsters are taking over the resort for a family-friendly Halloween party featuring spooky LEGO models, entertainment and more than 55 rides and attractions.

Visitors can meet Halloween characters, enjoy themed photo opportunities and experience the Haunted House Monster Party.

Lord Vampyre’s House Party also returns for 2026, alongside the Monster Jam show and the Halloween transformation of The Dragon with Disco Dragon.
