Walibi Holland is fully focusing on the Summer Season and Introduces Summer Saturdays

Walibi Holland will focus entirely on the summer season in the coming years, running from April through October. This decision follows a periodic evaluation of the theme park, in which it is regularly assessed which activities best align with both guests and Walibi’s nature as a seasonal business.

It has been decided to discontinue the winter event Bright Nights. Last year’s edition was the final one. Walibi Holland is proud of what was achieved with Bright Nights, but the limited opening period during the Christmas holidays and the strong dependence on unpredictable winter weather make it difficult to consistently guarantee the desired quality and guest experience.

Walibi is, above all, a seasonal business, During the summer months, we can offer our guests the best and most complete experience. That is where we want to fully focus.

Managing Director Mascha Taminiau

As part of this clear focus on the summer season, Walibi Holland is introducing a new concept: Summer Saturdays. On selected Saturdays during the summer, the park will remain open longer, until 10:00 PM, with offerings specifically aimed at families with children. The extended opening hours provide more time to enjoy attractions and spend long summer days together.

In addition, Walibi Holland is adjusting its Halloween calendar. Going forward, there will be a clear distinction between Halloween Spooky Days and Halloween Fright Nights, without any mixed days. This is intended to strengthen both concepts for their respective target audiences. For visitors attending Halloween Fright Nights, an additional afternoon activity is also being developed, with more details to be announced later.

With these strategic decisions, Walibi Holland aims to further enhance the quality of the guest experience and remain future-proof.
