Construction on Serpent’s Curse, Paultons Park’s highly anticipated new water coaster, has reached another exciting milestone, with the project now going vertical.
Over the past few days, large sections of support columns have been installed across the construction site, giving visitors their first real glimpse of the attraction’s towering layout. After weeks of groundwork and foundation work, the skyline around the future ride is beginning to transform as construction gathers pace. Recent updates shared online also show the project progressing rapidly as more steel continues to arrive on site.
Serpent’s Curse will become one of the biggest attractions ever built at Paultons Park when it opens in 2027. Manufactured by Mack Rides, the family thrill attraction will combine roller coaster elements with a dramatic water splash finale, making it the park’s first major water coaster.
The new attraction forms the next phase of the hugely successful Valgard: Realm of the Vikings expansion. While Valgard introduced guests to rides including Drakon, Raven and Vild Swing, Serpent’s Curse will continue expanding the Viking-themed land with an all-new adventure centred around a legendary sea serpent.
