Visitors planning a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach between 20th and 22nd July should be aware that the park’s iconic Big Dipper rollercoaster will be unavailable due to planned maintenance.
First opened in 1923, the Big Dipper remains one of Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s most famous attractions. The classic wooden coaster celebrated its centenary in 2023 and continues to delight generations of thrill-seekers with its five drops, sweeping turns and nostalgic ride experience.
While Big Dipper is closed, guests will still have plenty of major attractions to enjoy, including Aviktas, ICON, The Big One, Revolution, Grand National, Nickelodeon Streak, and many family rides across the park, subject to availability.
