Halloween is creeping ever closer, and THORPE PARK Resort’s Fright Nights is preparing to return for another terrifying season. While the full entertainment line-up is still being revealed, tickets are already on sale and the park has confirmed plenty of details about what guests can expect this October.
Here’s everything we know about Fright Nights 2026 so far.
Fright Nights Returns This October
THORPE PARK’s award-winning Halloween event will once again transform the Surrey theme park into the Home of Fear, with extended opening hours, live entertainment, scare zones and optional scare mazes.
The event is scheduled to begin on 2 October 2026, running on selected dates throughout October and into early November, with the park remaining open until 9pm during Fright Nights event days.
Visitors can experience the park after dark, giving rides such as Hyperia, Stealth, The Swarm, Saw – The Ride, Nemesis Inferno and Colossus an entirely different atmosphere once the sun goes down.
Four Scare Mazes Return
THORPE PARK has confirmed the return of its four premium scare mazes for 2026.
DeadBeat
One of the park’s newest experiences, DeadBeat throws guests into a sinister underground music scene where the rhythm never stops… and neither do the horrors.
Expect live actors, dark corridors and plenty of unexpected scares.
Trailers
Returning once again is Trailers, the park’s movie-themed maze.
Guests will find themselves stepping inside a series of terrifying film sets inspired by horror classics, with each room offering a different nightmare.
Following updates introduced previously, the attraction continues to be one of the event’s most popular mazes.
Stitches
Enter the twisted toy workshop where the mysterious Toymaker waits.
Filled with creepy dolls, disturbing creations and theatrical scares, Stitches has quickly become one of the standout experiences at Fright Nights.
Survival Games
Inspired by deadly competitions where only the strongest survive, Survival Games challenges guests to navigate terrifying environments while avoiding becoming the next victim.
The maze received significant updates previously and remains part of this year’s line-up.
Scare Mazes Are Not Included With Standard Entry
One important thing for visitors to remember is that standard Fright Nights tickets do not include the scare mazes.
Standard admission includes:
- Entry to THORPE PARK
- Access to over 25 rides and attractions
- Scare zones
- Live entertainment
- Halloween atmosphere throughout the park
Guests wanting to experience all four scare mazes will need to purchase either:
- A combined Fright Nights + Fearsome Four ticket, or
- A separate scare maze add-on if they have already booked park admission.
Scare Zones Return
Although the complete scare zone line-up has yet to be fully announced, THORPE PARK has confirmed that roaming actors and outdoor scare experiences will once again fill the resort.
Previous favourites have featured:
- Purgatory Town
- Lucifer’s Lair
- Live street entertainment
- Atmospheric performances across the park
The park is expected to reveal more details closer to the event.
Night Rides
For many thrill seekers, one of the biggest highlights of Fright Nights isn’t the mazes—it’s riding world-class rollercoasters in complete darkness.
With the park open until 9pm, guests can enjoy night rides on attractions including:
- Hyperia
- Stealth
- The Swarm
- Saw – The Ride
- Nemesis Inferno
- Colossus
- Ghost Train
The combination of darkness, fog and Halloween lighting creates a completely different experience compared to daytime visits.
Halloween Short Breaks Available
Guests wanting to make the most of the event can also book Fright Nights Short Breaks.
Packages include:
- Two days in the park
- Overnight accommodation
- Breakfast
- Optional stay at the THORPE Shark Cabins
- Early Fastrack benefits on selected packages

Visitors can now secure tickets for Fright Nights 2026, with online bookings offering savings compared with gate prices.
Those planning to experience the scare mazes are encouraged to book early, as premium maze packages regularly sell out on the busiest Halloween weekends.
