Up until today, Pleasure Beach Resort has been silent about its plans for the famous Ice Blast ride.
Now that the Blackpool attraction has made its plans clear, Ice Blast as we know it is coming to an end.
New for the 2025 season
The ride is being reimagined and re-themed, and will re-open under the name ‘Launch Pad.’
The ride includes a brand-new pressure cylinder that will change the present ride experience and shove passengers with more force than they have in recent years, in addition to the new branding and theming.Amanda Thompson OBE, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, said: “Earlier this year we announced that we are focusing on constantly evolving and renewing our ride offering, and confirmed our intention to make some exciting announcements in the future.
