Exciting news for theme park fans! Paultons Park has officially released the first footage of Drakon testing at the park — and it looks absolutely incredible.

After months of construction updates and speculation, we finally get to see trains cycling around the track, navigating twists, turns, and high-speed elements as the ride enters its next phase of development.
Testing is a huge milestone and confirms that the park is firmly on track for its anticipated 2026 opening.
While theming is still being finalised, seeing the ride in motion gives us our first real sense of Drakon’s speed and intensity.
Drakon will open on 16th May 2026.
