VALGARD: Realm of the Vikings Opens at Paultons Park
A huge new addition is arriving at Paultons Park this week.
VALGARD: Realm of the Vikings officially opens on:
- Saturday 16 May 2026
The new themed land promises:
- Immersive Viking theming
- New family thrill attractions
- Major new experiences for 2026 visitors
This is one of the biggest UK theme park openings of the year and is expected to attract large crowds during opening weekend.
Ride Closure at Paultons Park
Also at Paultons Park, Grandpa Pig’s Little Train will be closed for maintenance from:
- 11 May to 17 May 2026
The rest of the park, including the new VALGARD area, will remain open.
Drayton Manor Closed Midweek
Drayton Manor Resort will be closed on:
- 11 May
- 12 May
- 13 May
- 14 May
The park is expected to reopen later in the week.
2nd AVIKTAS VIP Ride Preview at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is hosting its second AVIKTAS VIP Ride Preview event this week.
The event takes place on:
- Wednesday 13 May 2026
Theme park enthusiasts will be keeping a close eye on the special preview event as anticipation continues to build.
LEGOLAND Windsor Closed
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort will be closed on:
- Wednesday 13 May 2026
This forms part of the park’s quieter midweek spring schedule.
Fantasy Island Closed Early Week
Fantasy Island will be closed on:
- Monday 11 May
- Tuesday 12 May
The park is expected to reopen later in the week.
