Visitors planning a trip to Paultons Park this week should be aware that two popular family attractions will be temporarily unavailable.

The park has confirmed that both Pirate Ship and Windy Castle Ride will be closed for planned maintenance from Monday 29 June until Sunday 5 July 2026. The attractions are currently scheduled to reopen on Monday 6 July, subject to maintenance being completed as planned.

Planned Maintenance

Routine maintenance is an essential part of keeping rides operating safely and reliably throughout the busy summer season. Temporary closures like these allow engineers to carry out inspections, servicing and any necessary repairs before the rides return to operation.

The affected attractions are:

  • Pirate Ship – Closed 29 June to 5 July
  • Windy Castle Ride – Closed 29 June to 5 July

Guests visiting during this period can still enjoy the park’s extensive selection of rides and attractions, including the new Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, Storm Chaser, Ghostly Manor, Cobra Falls, Lost Kingdom, Tornado Springs and Peppa Pig World.
