Six Flags Great Adventure has officially revealed BAKUNAWA as the name of its record-breaking new roller coaster, opening in 2027.
The new attraction will stand an incredible 382ft tall and reach speeds of 100mph, making it the world’s tallest and fastest spinning launch coaster.
Guests will ride in free-spinning, floorless trains that rotate naturally throughout the course, creating a different experience every time.
BAKUNAWA is already under construction and is expected to become one of the most anticipated coaster openings of 2027, bringing a unique combination of towering height, high-speed launches and unpredictable spinning action to Six Flags Great Adventure.
